Obama's wishful thinking about Iran's nuclear ambitions

Reading about the current talks aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear program I can't help thinking back to the time when we had a president who didn't want to believe that Hitler was a threat ("U.S. negotiations with Iran are a dangerous farce," Nov. 8, 2014).

The pabulum the Obama administration is feeding us regarding Iran seems like the same nonsense. While our leaders would like to believe they are forging peace with this enemy, they couldn't be more wrong.

Not only is Iran intent on developing nuclear weapons but at the same time it is developing the rockets to deliver them. Yet I see no mention anywhere of Iran's missile development program.

To me it looks like the administration is putting my grandchildren's lives squarely in Iran's cross-hairs. Now is the time to remember that those who fail to learn from the mistakes of the past are bound to repeat them.
