Eating bugs isn't for everyone; and it's expensive too

Regarding your recent article about insects as a protein source, Ms. Loudermilk felt that $4.99 per ounce is affordable ("Edible bugs take flight in Baltimore," June 7).

That's almost $80 per pound. -- for a bug supper! Seriously?

Granted, one can probably get a lot of bugs in a 1-pound bag, but how many does one have to eat to get the minimum daily protein requirement? I wish I knew.

I know what a serving size of tofu or chicken looks like. What's the serving size for bugs?
