President Obama wants to write his own laws on immigration and amnesty ("Immigrants, advocates must wait for deportation relief," Feb. 17).
No amnesty must ever be granted to undocumented immigrants who have entered this country illegally. Congress must immediately de-fund any attempt to grant them amnesty before a disaster in the making becomes reality.
Loretta Lynch, the Obama administration's nominee to succeed U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder, is already known to support the administration's unconstitutional executive action that would shield up to 5 million undocumented immigrants from immediate deportation.
If these lawbreakers are ever granted amnesty, millions of them will become eligible for tax refunds from the IRS for taxes they never paid, and they will get Social Security account numbers as well. This must never, ever happen in our country.
The bottom line is that undocumented immigrants are in this country illegally and that being here illegally is a crime.
