Why do I infer that the gay view of same-sex marriage is a minority viewpoint? Well, statistics from the latest census indicated that there were 231,000 U.S. households admitting to same sex "marriages." Perhaps some households weren't forthcoming, you say, and there's more? OK, lets make it a million. The National Rifle Association has something like six million members and the media constantly refers to them as a minority group, hardly representative of the American population.
