It's ironic that protesters insist that "Black Lives Matter" — but not to the blacks who are killing each other in Baltimore in record numbers.
According to Saturday's Sun, there have been 35 homicides here in the last month alone and many more shootings ("Two dead, eight injured in Baltimore shootings," May 16).
Perhaps black leaders need to focus more on the dysfunction within their community and less on real or supposed victimization. I don't think another prayer vigil or march for peace is going to solve this problem.
