In response to Jeanie Ferretti's letter, "Hogan hits new low," I am thankful we have a responsible governor in Larry Hogan. Maybe Ms. Ferretti, an employee of the General Assembly, is too close to the lawmakers to understand the governor's remarks were tongue in cheek ("Hogan likens legislators to kids on 'spring break,' drawing rebuke in Senate," Feb. 18).
Perhaps the writer needs to lighten up. Personal attacks against our great governor are really nasty. Comparing him to Donald Trump? Maybe Ms. Ferretti should prepare herself as Mr. Trump is likely to be her next president. We live in a democracy, and it's time for dictators Thomas V. Mike Miller and Michael E. Busch to go! Perhaps that is the real fear in her message.
