Maybe The Sun should remember that, as a candidate for governor, Larry Hogan was elected to lower taxes ("Hogan plays chicken," April 3).
While the legislature is "throwing Mr. Hogan a bone," its members should likewise remember that Governor Hogan's election was partly based on the fact that the voters made a choice to reduce taxes over tax and spend. The legislature might consider voting "one or two" tax breaks for the people of Maryland.
