In Hogan v. Brown, it's 2002 deja vu [Letter]

It seems the Anthony Brown/Ken Ulman campaign has gone into a full scale panic mode, unleashing negative ad after negative ad aimed at discrediting Larry Hogan ("Report: Md governor's race among nation's most negative," Sept. 30). They are scared to death, and rightly so because Larry Hogan has a real shot at winning this election. The last eight years have not been kind to many working-class Marylanders, and they know no matter how much spin they put on it, people will remember the 40 tax and fee increases, the tolls at the tunnels and bridges doubling and so on.

And where has all this money gone? Who knows! A new report in The Sun says we are facing a "structural deficit" once again heading into this election year. And that's the point, there is no amount of money that will satisfy the big spenders in Annapolis and the governor's mansion. No matter how much they take, they always want more!

It is high time for real change in this state — vote Larry Hogan for fiscal sanity!!!
