The feds are going to look into Maryland's health exchange rollout fiasco and all the Democratic powers are saying they welcome the investigation ("Federal inspector to audit Maryland health exchange," March 9).
Really ? Any one who actually believes that must also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.
Actually , the only Democrats who "really" welcome this are Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown's Democratic challengers in this year's gubernatorial race because it appears that Gov. Martin O'Malley's point man for the rollout has either been asleep for the past year or simply doesn't have a clue how to run anything.
I would love to know what the citizens of this state got for it's $260 million in taxpayers' money. You would certainly hope for something that would function better than Maryland's train wreck of a website, which works about as well as a 1970's AM transistor radio.
I can only hope the results of this investigation are revealed before the expected coronation of our lieutenant governor later this year, but I'm not counting on it. The last thing this state needs is another eight-year mistake.
