Harbor Point needs big park

I live directly across from Harbor Point and don't anticipate enjoying my location with its lovely view during the years of construction ("Harbor Point should include 11-acre park," July 4). The one saving grace was the promise of a large park that could turn this huge project into something the neighborhood could look forward to.

If the city is sincere in wanting to encourage families to move to and remain in the city, it must provide places for children and adults to enjoy. Surely in a planned project of this size, more consideration should be given to the city residents. A large park with activities for kids and places for all residents to relax and enjoy this amazing waterfront would go along way in making the city more livable.
