Focus on email content, not source

Two gentlemen recently wrote letters to The Sun questioning the Russian government's possible involvement in the hacking and release of email from the Hillary Clinton campaign ("WikiLeaks: Russia's propaganda unit," Oct. 27). Since there have been only accusations and no proof of any kind, we can discount that. The real question should be the messages in the emails, that the American public was lied to, laws were broken and Ms. Clinton lied to Congress and lied while being questioned by the FBI.

They are trying to shoot the messenger and not the message. People should be more worried about the cover-up and the fact that their government lied to them. One of the writers was worried that the Russians might have fabricated these emails, but ask yourself: Why hasn't Hillary disputed the emails?
