The Baltimore Sun's editorial, "Guns and obfuscations" (May 24), correctly states that Hillary Clinton has never — even "her most fiery pro-gun control moments" — said she wanted to confiscate American citizens' guns.
However, what she has said is that "the Australian example is worth looking at." And the "Australian example" was the confiscation of most long guns in 1996 and the confiscation of certain handguns in 2003.
