Regarding your recent editorial about Maryland's new gun law, you are obviously clueless about gun control ("Md. gun rights lawsuits are firing blanks," Sept. 30). It's working great in Chicago.
These new laws will do absolutely nothing to stop criminals from getting guns. Actually, the current laws need to be enforced and strengthened with mandatory sentences for people who commit crimes with guns. The only thing these "feel good" laws will accomplish is trampling on the rights of law-abiding citizens.
