Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown's campaign has been running attack ads saying that if elected, Larry Hogan would take this state backward ("Brown ads made me a Hogan supporter," Oct. 14). Well, you know what? It's true.
Larry Hogan would take this state backward — backward to when we didn't have 40 new tax and fee increases. Back to when the tolls at all bridges and tunnels didn't double and then double again. Back to before we had to pay a tax on the rain!
So the ads are correct. Larry Hogan will take us back to a time when Marylanders had more money in their pocket to spend on their families instead of it being confiscated by the government.
