Government is the problem

How does The Sun countenance the fairy tales concocted by Dan Rodricks ("The price we pay for anti-government rhetoric," Oct. 18)? It is not the rhetoric that should bother him — it is the reality of a bloated government intruding into every aspect of American lives, a government that regulates, advises, consults, taxes, demands and obstructs and produces absolutely nothing.

It is a government of bureaucrats sitting in little cubicles writing regulations that not even they understand, regulations that may or may not be enforced by agencies and prosecutors depending on who they choose to target. Wake up, Mr. Rodricks.
