I have to smile when high-toned politicians use the slang, "Gitmo," when referring to Guantanamo Bay, the U.S. Marine Corps base in Cuba ("Obama's unfinished business," Feb. 24). As far as I know, Marines started using "Gitmo" almost from the outset of its opening.
