Repeal of 'don't ask, don't tell' was the right thing for the country and the military

The repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell was a smart move for the country and the military. Discriminating against gays was wrong, especially for a progressive country such as ours.

Many more people now will be able to join the armed forces, adding to our military strength. While some individuals may remain homophobic, I believe an open-door policy is the best way for our military.
