Thank you to Frederick County for trying to remain as American as one can be today ("Frederick County's reputation for mean," Aug. 15).
Of course, this won't set well with The Sun or its staff ,and I am surprised that it was noted. But it is nice to see a few areas in the once-great United States of America are trying to remain crime-free and not be freeloaded out of existence.
