Thank you for the commentary, "Ban fracking, it's the rational choice" (June 29). I live in an area that depends on well water and do not want fracking anywhere near our aquifer. I also think it is a waste of water, in general, and puts the land at higher risk of tremors. There's nothing good for residents, only profits for corporations at our expense.
The author, Dr. Gina M. Angiola of Chesapeake Physicians for Social Responsibility, and others should continue to speak out. I have also appealed to Gov. Larry Hogan to ban fracking and am monitoring his actions.
