I love it when columnist Dan Rodricks demands a base in morality ("The 'family values' hypocrisy on Donald Trump," Oct. 11).
The only time he touts a moral argument is when it involves Republicans, a subspecies of the human race, while he tries to make Baltimore itself devoid of moral thinking.
Why is he calling "family values" hypocrisy over Donald Trump? Because is upset that Rep. Andy Harris is not going along with the script that the Republican leadership is creating — in my opinion to get a piece of candy from the media, as they will never endorse a Republican candidate in the end.
Considering the number of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz supporters, if they end up unelected, so much the better. The press did its job.
I see the word "hypocrisy" as a perfect double entendre for Mr. Rodricks given the host of emails being released from Hillary Clinton's campaign that show collusion between it and the media to influence an election.
I would love a WikiLeaks to release the emails of the Republican leadership as I suspect they too are trying to unduly influence the campaign against Mr. Trump — and against the American voter as well.
