The election is over. No one won or lost. The two gentlemen who campaigned for governor were political twins. Neither man was inspiring, hopeful or effective. We are back on the same political bus with a new driver. Our destination is the same as it was.
This merry-go-round will continue until young voters realize that our political system is broken and demand radical changes. The renovation will be an investment in time. We will be in this rut for some years to come.
Let's hope that governor-elect Larry Hogan does not shift into reverse and strip the gears as he drifts down the current slippery slope.
God bless America. We're going to need it.
