As a lifelong resident of Dundalk, I have followed with interest Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz's proposed sale of parkland at the site which previously housed North Point Junior High School ("Don't sell Dundalk parkland," Nov. 18). I respect those who view our parkland as a precious treasure and are willing to put up the good fight. In my humble opinion, County Executive Kamenetz's scheme to sell our children's and grandchildren's inheritance is no different than the shenanigans that led to the loss of our beloved Baltimore Colts in 1984. If this unprecedented sale of our park goes through, to my family and friends Mr. Kamenetz will forever be remembered as the Bob Irsay of Baltimore County.
