When I read the article about the firing of that 37-year Maryland Department of Natural Resources employee without cause or explanation, I had to question the appointment of Mark Belton to serve as DNR Secretary ("Turnover at DNR, as four top officials depart," May 29).
As a commercial fisherman, will he pay little heed to all the recreational boaters and fishermen and organizations like the Chesapeake Bay Foundation trying to save the Chesapeake Bay? I see a bias here that may be detrimental to all who have helped to save the bay.
