Baltimore voters and taxpayers, it's time to kick these long-serving politicians to the curb. How can anyone sit on the City Council's education committee and not know how these appointed heads of these government agencies spend tax dollars with no accountability ("City Council members shocked by schools deficit, plan hearings," Feb. 18)?
I always thought that these elected officials were the watchdogs of how our tax dollars are spent. Most of us know one thing for sure — the only thing that these so-called public servants do well is get reelected.
