Help available for discussing death

In her thoughtful commentary ("A good death," July 28), Ruth Goldstein writes that "End-of-life discussions may be uncomfortable, but they are more necessary than ever."

A help for these conversations is the marvelous book by Dr. Dan Morhaim, "The Better End: Surviving (and Dying) on Your Own Terms in Today's Modern Medical World." It was published by Johns Hopkins University Press last year. Dr. Morhaim is the only physician in the Maryland General Assembly. He represents Maryland's 11th legislative district.
