Jonas Goldberg's criticism of President Obama for comparing Islam to Christianity left out a significant piece of information about one of his sources ("Obama's comparison of Christianity, radical Islam defies logic," Feb. 7).
Mr. Goldberg called his source, Bernard Lewis, "the greatest living English-language historian of Islam."
But what he failed to point out is that Mr. Lewis was an adviser to former Vice President Dick Cheney during the administration of George W. Bush and was a very strong proponent of the Iraq war.
In other words he's hardly what I would call an unbiased source.
