With all that's wrong in today's world, the story about the run scored by the high school baseball player with autism helps to put life back into perspective ("Mount Carmel's Robbie Long scores his first run, with a little help from Friends," April 22).
We tend to be quick to judge and stereotype young people but this story certainly proves that all is not wrong in the world. There are only three words that I can think of to describe these youngsters — classy, all-stars and winners!
Hats off to the coaches for even if they weren't directly involved, I'm sure the way they manage their teams had a lot to do with the decision that was made! My only regret is that The Sun didn't make this front page news!
