Clinton emails: So much for the rule of law

Let me get this straight: FBI Director James Comey says that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received and sent over 113 emails that were clearly marked classified and top-secret in spite of her repeated denials of this fact ("No charges sought in Clinton email server probe," July 6).

These are emails that were not part of the 2,000 that were reclassified as top-secret after-the-fact. He also stated that Ms. Clinton and her staff were extremely careless in their handling of sensitive and secret material. He even went as far as to say that bad actors most likely compromised her server and most likely hacked into her system. Oh, and by the way, she had multiple servers and devices that she used for her emails, all unprotected. And after saying all of this, he matter-of-factly states that because he didn't feel she intended to be so sloppy and careless she should not be indicted and would not recommend so.

Are you kidding me? No wonder most Americans have no faith in our government to police itself as this is yet another clear example of a phony make-believe investigation and clear proof that the fix was in well before former President Bill Clinton stepped on Attorney General Loretta Lynch's plane for his impromptu chat. This country has officially become a banana republic. All that's missing are the roosters and chickens running wild on the White House lawn.
