The verdict: 'Guilty as hell and free as a bird'

Did Hillary Clinton convince anyone at The Sun that she did well at the State Department ("Another Clinton 'conspiracy' debunked?" July 5). Are we to believe that she did well with Benghazi?

Of course, just four deaths would not shock anyone at The Sun these days. That is pretty much standard fare for any evening in our city.

What was the actual reason for Ms. Clinton's having private servers, particularly after she signed government documents clearly forbidding such things?

This was not a mistake on Ms. Clinton's part but rather a clear intent to deceive with disregard and disrespect for the rules.

Her arrogance reminds me of 1970s-era Weather Underground bomber William Ayers, who also held the rules in contempt. After he and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, managed to evade prosecution for their deeds he stood on the courthouse steps and proudly proclaimed: "Guilty as hell and free as a bird!"
