Why Clinton lost

I find it amusing listening to all the Democrats who all need therapy now trying to figure out why Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump It's the Russians! No, it was WikiLeaks! No, It was James Comey and the FBI! And on, and on, and on.

But for all the Democratic whining, they're not seeing the bigger picture. The Democratic Party has spent the last decade trying to figure out as many ways as possible to get more immigrants into this country either legally or illegally. Their hope was most of these people would be on some sort of federal assistance and that eventually these people would be granted amnesty and would then become citizens and faithful Democratic voters due to their dependence upon federal programs.

Along the way however, they took for granted and totally abandoned one of their normal and reliable strongholds, which was the non-college educated working class. These were the folks who worked in the textile mill, the steel mills, the construction industry — basically the backbone of this country. The Democrats still controlled the teachers unions and the federal employees unions, but your basic rank and file union members — plumbers, steamfitters, carpenters, etc. — all saw the writing on the wall that the Democratic Party was more worried about getting more people into this country then looking out for the ones that were already here.

It should be no surprise that these same folks have now voted for a candidate and a political party who promise to return their jobs back to this country. If Mr. Trump can deliver on his promises to get our economic growth back in the 4 percent range and bring jobs and wealth back to this country, the Democratic Party will rue the day that they forgot about the working class voter.
