Of course former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used bad judgment in using a personal server for official state department business ("Clinton campaign accuses FBI director of 'double standard' in email probe," Nov. 1). She has admitted that it was a mistake. But compare that indiscretion to those of her opponent, Donald Trump, a pathological liar, racist and demagogue reminiscent to all of us of no less than Adolf Hitler.
The choice in the forthcoming election is clear. As for FBI Director James Comey, his decision to publicly announce an additional investigation into newly-discovered emails without knowing the nature of the emails was bizarre and stupid and tarnished the reputation of his agency. I expect he will resign his position some time after the election.
