Why Clinton has an image problem

At a campaign rally in Pennsylvania Aug. 1, 2016, Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton "the devil." (CBS Miami)

Hillary Clinton has an image problem, but it is journalists like columnist Jules Witcover and others who continue to cover up her lies and scandals by always telling us what a wonderful wife, mother and former secretary of state she was ("Hillary Clinton acknowledges her negative image," Aug. 1).

Mr. Witcover devoted half of his column to "educating" us about Ms. Clinton and the other half to disparaging Donald Trump.

I suggest he interview Gary J. Byrne or read his book "Crisis of Character." Mr. Byrne was a White House Secret Service Officer during the Clinton years and witnessed the real Ms. Clinton with her uncontrollable anger and filthy mouth.

Despite the efforts of the media, people are starting to learn about the real Hillary. She's not as Mother Teresa-like she would have us believe.

People don't like her not because she's a "cold policy wonk" but because she's morally corrupt and thinks she's above the law.
