I read with amazement Shawn Alcarese's letter in which he compares Hillary Clinton to Adolph Hitler ("Clinton asks us to take a lot on trust," June 11).
This comparison was based on his belief that Ms. Clinton is often excused for wrongdoing because there is no "smoking gun" linking her to illegal acts.
This kind of odious comparison does not help either our political process or our image abroad.
