F. Michael Higginbotham believes that Hillary Clinton will get most of the African American vote in the 2016 election because she deserves it! ("Clinton deserves black vote," May 18.) Really? First of all during the last seven years of the Obama administration, the plight of African Americans has worsened, after all the "pretty" speeches by President Barack Obama pledging to help them. Then along comes Hillary Clinton pledging the same "lies," and African Americans should believe her lies as well? All words and no action is what they will get from Ms. Clinton. She constantly says what they want to hear, but she has never lived it. Dr. Ben Carson has lived it and would be the perfect choice for our next president. We do not need any more lying politicians in the White House, Republican or Democrat!
