Baltimore treats all neighborhoods equally badly

Amanda Agricola's hope that all of Baltimore's neighborhoods receive equal attention from the city ("Cleaning up all of Baltimore's streets," July 16) suggests that some neighborhoods receive more services than others. She does not state, however, that property owners in Bolton Hill, Madison Park, Mt. Vernon and Charles North have voted to pay an additional tax to the Midtown Special Benefits District for the extra cleaning services she describes. Thus, the city is treating all neighborhoods equally, albeit with services that should be better.
