Regarding Baltimore City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke's letter "Governor needs some manners" (May 5):
Ms. Clarke is one of those long-serving politicians who has failed to make Baltimore a safe place for its residents.
I always thought that our politicians were the caretakers of our tax dollars, but when Ms. Clarke was asked about the $60 million spent over budget by Baltimore schools CEO Gregory Thornton she said she didn't know about this spending.
