I did not care for any of your coverage of the aftermath of the massacre in Charleston ("As black churches mourn Charleston shooting victims, questions about racism, gun policy raised," June 18).
I am tired of seeing black folks in a prayer/surrender mode and tired of the optics of black people looking passive and beaten down.
I also reject the nonsense of prayer as being some miracle when it did nothing to save the lives of those confronted by a depraved killer fueled by the ongoing reality of racism in America.
Finally, I tire of the media's patronizing coverage and its endless use of the same quotes and images.
