Bush cropped out of Selma photo

I am disappointed that the Associated Press photograph of the Selma bridge march on the front page of the Sunday edition was edited to remove all but a forearm of former President George W. Bush as he marched with President Barack Obama ("President marks civil rights milestone in Selma," March 8). As he showed unity with the marchers, so should The Sun editor by showing that other leaders remembered the moment. Would former presidents Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton have been cropped out of the photograph had they chosen to participate? As the only former president to march in the front row, more than his forearm should have been shown.
