What Brown should have said

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown thanked his supporters in his concession speech ("It's Hogan," Nov. 5). This is what he should have said:

"I am sorry and I apologize to my loyal supporters. If I had done my job and made sure the Maryland health insurance exchange website was fully operational, I would be your governor today and all your hard work would have meaning instead of being worthless. I have accepted responsibility for my failure. I am truly sorry for letting you down."
