Helen Bentley was a woman of vision, integrity, courage and commitment to the common good ("Helen Delich Bentley, congresswoman who was a staunch advocate of the port of Baltimore, dies," Aug. 6). Her dad was a miner, and she never lost her caring and commitment to the working man and woman.
Congresswoman Bentley possessed qualities and virtues that are sorely missing in our current politicians.
