As per The Sun's editors and reporters, we can blame former Gov. Martin O'Malley's zero-tolerance policing, rapes not followed up on, police brutality, Tasers, lack of police accountability and lack of TV news reporting for all the ills of the Baltimore police.
But who endorsed zero-tolerance O'Malley?
And the real problem underlying segregation goes back even further: Slavery is rarely mentioned in The Sun, and no doubt its press room was not integrated until many years after the Civil War.
And why not throw in the white Christian and Jewish leaders who weren't not bothered that there were no black members of their churches and synagogues? But since their "holy" book, the Bible, gives credence to slavery, why would one expect any real leadership from them?
Then there is Islam, whose slave trade resulted in 19 million deaths between the seventh and nineteenth centuries. According to its "holy" book, the Koran supports slavery, including the slavery of Islamic polygamy.
And should we put ruthless drug dealers, addicts, white real estate agencies and "white flight" into the blame game scenario? Of course.
