My wife and I are from Connecticut. Both of us are retired, and last weekend, we took a trip to Baltimore to see a couple of games between the Yankees and Orioles. We are diehard Yankee fans, mind you, but we wanted to see Camden Yards.
We purchased tickets over six week ago before the sad series of events that took place. We talked at length about canceling our trip. We didn't. You see we love baseball, and this being our 50-year anniversary, we decided the game must go on, so to speak.
We are so glad we went. The people of Baltimore were wonderful. Everyone and everywhere we went it was the same, especially in and around the park. They were courteous, kind and extremely helpful. We love you, Baltimore. You are a model to be followed everywhere. Hope to see you again.
