Ninety-five degrees of separation

At last! Letter writer John Davis Held had the presence of mind to comment on the awful scheduling of Artscape ("Artscape in July is too darn hot," July 18).

Why didn't all of us speak up ages ago? Heat stroke I guess. I was advised by my medical team to cancel my offer to volunteer at the Walters Art Museum's tent. I stopped attending Artscape several years ago because of the heat and have been feeling guilty about it. Another example of heat fever, I'm sure.

Please, rethink the scheduling. Better weather will attract more audience and a wider range of artists.
