I left the Roman Catholic church some years ago because I could not comprehend how a just and loving God could condemn a soul to everlasting damnation.
Since then I have always asked myself if I made the right decision. With the intense discussion of abortion and same-sex marriage that is raging today, I am convinced that I did. Theology is riddled with contradictions.
Because if God can abort a fetus and permit homosexuals, how can He then give religious leaders and their congregations the power to condemn his handiwork?
