I'm not the brightest star in the economic firmament, but it was always apparent to me that joining BGE's PeakRewards Program would take away my right to make my own decision about when and how to use electricity ("If you can't stand the heat," July 26). Those who did choose this program received the benefits they opted for, but now they're crying "no fair," or we didn't know that this would happen to us. As always in life, we make our choices and receive the benefits or disadvantages of those choices.
