Sun sports coverage needs to be more diverse

In response to the TV news cutting back on sports reporting ("Sports getting squeezed off Baltimore's late newscasts" July 13), maybe they should make their coverage more diverse. In fact, The Sun itself should take note. With the American women's soccer team in the final game of the World Cup, this amazing achievement is found on page 8! There is absolutely no mention of the match race between Blind Luck and Havre De Grace, two of the best fillies in U.S., in Saturday's Delaware Handicap. Sailing and fishing, as local as it gets, are also doomed to the back pages. In my house, we turn to the sports pages when we want to light the grill. I am not alone.
