More viewers tuned to WJZ-TV than any other station in Baltimore in the aftermath of Tuesday's earthquake.
And during the first two hours of "special coverage" after the quake, the station dominated, according Nielsen Media Research.

WBFF did not go into rolling coverage as the other three stations did starting shortly after the earthquake.
According to station management, WBFF provided 3-minute updates at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. before starting its regularly scheduled early evening newscast.
