And now, like fourth-century Christians arguing whether Jesus and God were homoousios or homoiousios, the partisans are blatting back and forth, reminiscent of the people arguing whether the toilet paper should roll over or under.
The internet was once given awed reverence as an entity, but now that the novelty has worn off, it's as much a part of the environment as the Radio or the Television.
Do the right thing with the internet. Do the wrong thing with the Internet. Just wake me when it's all over.
