As a former city school board member, I would like to join with others who have expressed their appreciation to Tisha Edwards for her outstanding service to Baltimore City schools (“Edwards would have been a good pick for schools Feb. 23).
Whether as principal, chief of staff, or interim CEO, she excelled at her job. Ms. Edwards was a key part of Andrés Alonso’s leadership team and was instrumental in implementing his reforms. She deserves our sincere gratitude for her work on behalf of the students of Baltimore.
