Marta Mossburg's column, "Free services? Some 'threat,'" (July 17), trivialized the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy by comparing it to choosing between breakfast cereals. She also assumed that those who visit these so-called crisis pregnancy center to be poor black and Latino women and failed to explain the surplus budget at a so-called "Crisis Pregnancy Center" in Baltimore. Ms. Mossburg's commentary is filled with other misleading and incorrect information.
Baltimore City Council was correct in 2009 when it voted to require these facilities to post signage stating that abortions and referrals are not part of their deceptive services.
